Herding Dog Central was built to be a centralized place for people to **buy, sell, and showcase working stock dogs**. Because our goal is to keep buyers engaged on the site—and to ensure every listing provides real value—we do not allow outside links in free ads.

We’re proud to offer a **free way to advertise your dogs online**, but to keep the platform useful, trustworthy, and effective for everyone, there are a few simple rules to follow. Following these guidelines will help ensure your ads are approved quickly and perform well. Failure to follow them may result in your account being disabled and/or any paid subscriptions being terminated without refund.

**Rule 1.** Ads containing foul language, or rude/offensive comments will not be permitted.

**Rule 2.** No duplicate ads. Multiple listings for the same dog will not be approved.

**Rule 3.** If your breed isn’t listed, you may not post the ad. You can suggest a breed using the contact page.

**Rule 4.** No “want” ads (ads seeking dogs).

**Rule 5.** All free ads require approval before being published on the site.

**Rule 6.** Outside links are allowed for Kennel Account holders only. Free ads asking users to visit an external website will not be approved.

**Rule 7.** Accounts must be created using real names—no business names or abbreviations.
